A little about me.
My background is in petroleum engineering. I moved into technical support, operations, and software delivery. These days, my work brings together software, AI automation, and product decisions.

The work
How the pieces fit.
I like working across the interface and the process behind it: what the software does, how someone uses it, and where human judgment still matters.
Petroleum engineering still finds its way into the work. My early publications covered microbial oil recovery. More recently, the ROGII hackathon gave me a way to connect that background with machine learning.
The non-work bit
A casual, sometimes lazy cinephile.
Music is usually playing. Football and EA FC can erase an evening. I watch films and anime in bursts, then spend too long deciding what comes next.
Astronomy remains the easiest rabbit hole. It is difficult not to care about scale, time, and strange systems once you start looking up.
